Instructions

- Wash rice and put in a small pot with the specified amount of water (above), cover with appropriate lid.
- Start cooking rice at high heat, but gradually change to medium and to low (as the water dries out) to avoid burning. The exact amount of time needed for the rice to be cooked is 40 minutes.
- Rinse frozen mixed veggies under warm water. In a large skillet on medium heat, add oil and then frozen mixed veggies.
- (Be sure to keep a large stirring spoon on hand, as you will need to stir the mixture as it heats up and starts to fry) Add the vegetable bullion, paprika, Italian seasoning and ½ cup of water.
- NOTE: You can add more seasonings to taste, such as another ½ tsp salt and 1 tsp vegetable bullion.
- Sauté this mixture for 4 minutes and then remove from heat.
- Pour cooked rice in the skillet with the veggies that have just been sautéed and stir the whole thing together on low heat for 2 minutes.
- After the 2 minutes, remove from heat and serve as desired.
